Commercial Locksmith Services

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

Securing your business or commercial property is essential to protecting your employees and your investment. A certified locksmith provides a number of specialized services and products to help reduce employee theft and improve security at your place of business.

As a business owner, it is crucial that you have control over who has access to your property at all times. Rekeying your locks should be done immediately to maintain the security of your office or facility.

Commercial property owners have similar issues as their tenants move in an out throughout the year. There is no way to know how many keys have been issued by a tenant and given out to friends and family. As soon as a tenant vacates the property, have a locksmith rekey the lock to prevent access. This will secure your property and make it safe for the next tenant.

A certified locksmith can create a master key system for commercial property owners. This allows each tenant to have his or her own individual key to open the door to the leased space. The property manager will then have a master key that allows him or her to access all of the doors on the property. This gives individual tenants the protection they need while still permitting access to the property owner or manager. The master key system is often used in apartment and office buildings.

Business owners need to have a licensed locksmith to call should there be any damage to their locks. Weak or malfunctioning locks can greatly reduce the security of your building. If a key accidentally gets stuck or broken inside the lock, a locksmith can perform key extraction to restore the lock back into working order. Emergency services are also available should you need a locksmith in a hurry or during non-working hours.

A locksmith is a highly trained individual who can install and repair push-pull paddles that are often found in commercial properties, as well as crash bars and exit devices. Even magnetic locking systems for “buzzer entry” of doors are no match for a trained locksmith. He can also make recommendations for products or services that will increase the security of your building and protect your property.

Be sure to secure the interior of your office space as well with locks for cabinets and desks. These type of security measures may prevent theft from occurring during the workday while employees are left unattended.

A locksmith is a valuable tool for securing commercial property and places of business. Whether you are a small, local business with only an office or a national company with a sprawling campus, security should be a top priority. Call a local locksmith who is highly trained to assist you with all of your commercial security needs.

Customer Service Training

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Customer service is one of most lucrative professions today. In fact, the service industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. If you are looking out for getting into customer service, you would be required to undergo customer service training. This training basically takes you through the various aspects of ensuring that every customer is serviced to their satisfaction and to your employer’s best ability.

Even though this aspect is lampooned in almost every humor movie since the past few years, this aspect still stands as one of the strongest in the worldwide history of employer consumer relationships. If a customer has a problem with a service or service, remember that the customer may actually have a valid point of debate and they would be looking to get their problem solved. Get the problem solved and they would sing songs about the company you work for all ages to come. Go into any discussion with the customer with the thought that the customer is right and be courteous and try to see the customer’s point. After this, even if it turns out the customer is wrong, the customer may actually agree that they are wrong and the issue would be solved as amicably as possible.

Though this will not be told to you in any of the training that a company gives you, remember this as a personal note-every service and product has some kind of flaws in it and it is quite possible that the customer has actually been given a nonworking product or bad service. Once you actually come across such a situation, it becomes simpler for you; because all you have to do is to inform your superiors that the customer has actually been served a dud and you are good in the eyes of the customer as well as the management. If the company completely disagrees with your comments even if they are quite transparent, it is time for you to look out for a new job.

The most important aspect of customer service is the service chain. The service chain exists because not everyone in the service chain is enabled to take every decision. Therefore, make sure that you know the exact moment the higher up in the service chain has to be involved in any customer service interaction that you are having. Of course, you should also understand that not every issue that is brought to your attention requires to be escalated to your superiors, and that every customer who talks to you will want to speak to your superiors after around an hour or two, or day or two, of interacting with you. Therefore, it is a simple matter of juggling to the situation which has to be escalated and the situation that does not require the attention of your superior.
